Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the ASMR Therapy app for iPhone (the "app") and this website handle information. The app is made by <developer name> ("we", "us").

What stays on your iPhone

Your collection, capsules, tickets, settings and game records are saved on your iPhone. Toy interactions, sound and haptics are made on your iPhone and are not sent to us. Deleting the app deletes this data, unless you backed it up with cloud saves (below). If you back up your iPhone to iCloud or a computer, this data can be part of that backup, under Apple's terms.

Third parties and what they receive

Three optional features use outside services. Each one receives only what it needs for that feature.

Google AdMob: rewarded ads

An ad plays only when you tap Watch ad to earn one extra capsule ticket. There are no banner ads, no ads between toys and no ads that open on their own. Before your first ad, the app asks your age group. If you choose Under 16 or Prefer not to say, the app does not request ads, and you can keep playing. Where the law requires it, Google's consent form appears before any ad, and you can change your choice at any time in the app's Settings, Privacy, Ad privacy choices. The app asks only for non-personalized ads.

When an ad is requested or shown, Google receives your IP address (and the approximate location it implies), device and app identifiers, which ad was shown and how you interacted with it, and diagnostic information. Google uses this to deliver, measure and protect ads, under Google's privacy policy.

Apple and RevenueCat: purchases

Optional one-time purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your card or other payment details. RevenueCat, our purchase service, receives a random app user ID, your purchase and transaction history and basic device and app information, so the app can check what you own and restore it. If you sign in, your purchases are linked to your account ID. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

Apple and Supabase: optional account and cloud saves

You can sign in with Apple to back up your progress. The app does not ask Apple for your name or email. If you sign in, Apple gives the app an account identifier, and Supabase, our account service, stores that identifier, <the email or private relay address, only if Apple provides one> and the progress you back up (collection, capsules, tickets and XP). We use it only to sign you in and to save and restore your progress. Supabase stores this data in the United States. See Supabase's privacy policy.

Tracking

The app does not ask for permission to track you across other companies' apps and websites, and we do not use your data for that. We do not use your cloud saves to target ads.

Deleting your account

In the app, go to Settings and tap Delete account. You can also start deletion on the web at <account deletion page>, without reinstalling the app. Deletion removes your account and cloud saves, revokes Sign in with Apple and asks RevenueCat to delete your purchase records. Progress on your iPhone stays until you delete the app. Deleting your account does not refund purchases, and Apple keeps its own purchase records. <deletion timing and backup retention>

How long we keep data

Account and cloud-save data are kept until you delete your account. <backup and log retention> If you email us, we use your email only to answer you.

Apple's App Store statistics

Apple may give developers aggregated statistics, such as downloads and crash reports, from people who chose to share analytics with app developers in their iPhone settings. These reports do not identify you. You control this in Settings, Privacy & Security, Analytics & Improvements.

Children

ASMR Therapy is made for a general audience and is not directed at children. Anyone who chooses Under 16 or Prefer not to say does not see ads. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). If you think a child has signed in, write to us and we will delete the account.

This website

asmrtherapy.app uses no cookies and no analytics. It remembers your language choice in your browser's local storage, which never leaves your device. The live wax ball on the home page runs entirely in your browser: it loads only its own files from this site, sends nothing anywhere and saves nothing on your device. Our hosting provider (<hosting provider, country>) may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security and reliability, under its own privacy policy. Links to other sites, such as Instagram or Apple, take you to those sites, and their own privacy policies apply there.

Your choices and rights

You can play without an account, skip ads, change your ad privacy choices in the app and delete your account at any time. To ask for a copy of your data, a correction or deletion, write to support@asmrtherapy.app.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above before the change takes effect.
